How Hovn counts your usage
- Registrations: only completed registrations count toward your total. Cancelled seats never count.
- Card banks: a card bank is a connection to an agency for issuing certifications. A provider will typically have 1 bank per agency. Additional banks are used if you have instructors who have their own card banks.
- Extra usage: if you ever outgrow your included amounts, overage is billed only on completed registrations at your plan's rate.

Switching, setup & billing
- Setup fee: $50 one-time when you start on Essentials (covers your first month). Waived on Pro and Business.
- Plan changes: You can upgrade to a higher plan anytime; we'll prorate the first payment.
- Extra usage: If you go over your included registrations (or other usage limits), we bill the extra usage monthly at your plan's rates. Annual subscriptions still settle extra usage month-to-month.
- Cancellations: Cancel anytime; you keep access through the end of your current paid period.
